Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
- Develop and refine vendor management strategies.
- Evaluate new vendor partnerships for company alignment.
- Proactively manage risks and establish key relationships with vendors.
- Conduct thorough vendor performance and business reviews.
Contract Management:
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring robust management from negotiation to renewal.
- Ensure vendor compliance with SLAs and manage contract-related compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Oversee vendor-related budgeting, ensuring alignment with IT budgets and project goals.
- Drive the consolidation and optimization of vendor resources.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and operations to bolster vendor management.
- Serve as the communication hub between the company and vendors to resolve issues and ensure operational efficiency.
Governance and Compliance:
- Assist in IT audit activities and maintain a centralized vendor contract repository.
- Uphold compliance with pertinent legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of vendor relationship management, contract negotiations, and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal prowess.
- Skilled in using various vendor management tools and software.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and with external entities.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, procurement, or a similar discipline.
- Extensive experience in vendor management, procurement, contract management, or related fields is highly preferred
