The Technical Product Owner is a critical part of this transformation. The Company is looking for an experienced product owner, who is self-motivated, technically savvy, and can develop and maintain strong business development relationships with their internal customers. The individual will be able to carry technical knowledge into strategic conversations and assist in bridging their customer needs with technology capabilities. Work with Business Relationship Managers and scrum teams to develop and execute strategic and/or internal customer roadmaps and quarterly release plans. Gather requirements from internal customers and stakeholders and communicate them effectively to scrum team. Represent internal customers’ needs to scrum team and ensure the backlog is prioritized appropriately. Facilitate planning, prioritization and communication between IT and its internal customers. Assist Scrum Master and team in breaking down large initiatives into features and user stories. Collaborate with internal customers and other stakeholders to translate business and technical priorities into user stories. Assist in developing and writing user stories as needed. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to drive efficiency, effectiveness, data quality, and productivity. Direct/influence the direction of work done by the scrum teams aligned to their respective business partners and/or strategies. Ensure scrum team sprint goals are achieved via inspection of sprint results during sprint and via sprint review. For large initiatives, manage budget and latest estimates. Ensure design and/or business documentation is delivered for initiatives (when applicable). Work effectively with other Technical Product Owners to manage prioritization and delivery of work across multiple business areas and scrum team. Participate in scrum ceremonies with scrum team. Promote SDLC processes that leverage Agile methodologies for delivery


Minimum Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related experience

Minimum Experience: 

3+ years’ experience in software/application development Certified Scrum Product Owner a Plus Budget and financial management experience MS Team Foundation Server experience

• Demonstrated experience in being customer service oriented

• Ability to operate as a self-motivated, pro-active, and result-driven problem solver with excellent analytical and communication skills

• Ability to understand business processes across the company and recommend solutions

• Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of business and technical leadership

• Knowledge of health plan core business processes and operations preferred but not required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
